Tykes & Teens offers behavioral health services provided by master’s level or higher licensed or license eligible clinicians from our offices in Palm City, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound and Port St. Lucie and Vero Beach, as well as virtually via telehealth.
General Mental Health services for children and families provided by master’s level or license eligible clinicians both in person or virtually. Â
Prevention Services programming provides community events for adolescents and parents to prevent substance use, bullying, dating violence, suicide and other dangerous behaviors.
The Alternative to Out-of-School Suspension Program (ALTOSS) is a free program open to Martin County middle and high school students who have been suspended from school.Â
Psychatric services is provided for children and adolescents ages 2-18 currently receiving therapy and services within our agency as well as other health practitioners, including psychiatric evaluations, medication, management, and GeneSite testing.
Infant Mental Health therapists utilize Child Parent Psychotherapy for infants who have experienced at least one traumatic event and are exhibiting challenging behavior, attachment difficulties and/or experiencing social-emotional delays.Â
Mental Health Consultation is a preventative based approach focused on fostering the social emotional development of young children from birth to 5 years, at early childhood education programs to promote long term emotional health and wellness.
Targeted Case Management (TCM) is a mental health service that addresses needs that may be outside the scope of therapy or psychiatry. Wrap around Targeted Case Management is a highly effective additional lay of support to mental health counseling.
Providing Enhanced Treatment and Empowering Youth, Tykes & Teens created a summer camp specifically with our clients who have the most intense behavioral and emotional challenges in mind. Our camp is a fun and safe place for our clients, who cannot be supported in a traditional summer camp environment. Â
The walk-in, outpatient clinic is for youth who are having behavioral health crises such as thoughts of suicide or self-harm, depression, anxiety or out-of-control behavior, among other mental health issues.Â
